Alexandra Badea – Waiting Room / Meditation Space
“This project is about the interior design of waiting rooms in Romanian hospitals, where not much has changed since they were made 40 years ago, they have the same furniture and same finishes, the only thing that is changing are the house plants, and that’s mostly because people are stealing them. I also wanted to present the waiting room as it is for the patient, a meditation space where all the concerns start running through one’s mind as it waits a verdict from the doctor, a quiet and tense place where nobody is present.”
Alexandra Badea (b. 1990) is an architecture student and photographer from Constanța.
