Papergirl Ia?i Project

“Papergirl is the mailman that once a year brings you for free works of art on the street, if you are lucky enough or have the intuition to come at the right time out of the house. Papergirl is the collector that gathers from April to August photographs, drawings, paintings, comics, collages, cartoons, stencils and puts them together in rolls of ten. Then, they are being distributed to those who pass by at that moment on the street. But not before the two weeks exhibition, where each work of each contributor can be admired. Papergirl receives any art work as long as it is original and printed, as the initiative is pro-bono, no money is raised for personal profit.

Papergirl organizes events, creative and mutant bikes workshops in order to encourage the artistic creativity and also, the inventivity about travelling on 2 wheels. And, finally, those who have built their own mutant bikes at the workshops can become Paperboys and Papergirls and participate with their invention at the distribution of the artwork collected.

Papergirl brings the art on the streets.
