I met Claudiu on a photography forum and I really wanted to see a portfolio of his works, nicely organized on a website. So he recently launched some very interesting stories on www.claudiupopescu.com. I proudly helped him with this featured project as the club where these photos were taken is one of my favorites, too.

Gabriel and Lucian were born in different towns in Transilvania, Romania. They never met while being at home but somehow they ran into each other, few years ago, in Brussels, where the two are currently living. I featured them with La Drag Queen here and on both Oitzarisme and Love Issue #3 with their wonderful project “Costumes of Viflaim”. Few images from this project will be exhibited at Art Truc Troc on 27-29 January at Bozar, Brussels.

When autumn came the girl spent a whole day washing all her clothes. She hung them on a string in her garden to let the gentle autumn sun dry them.
Out of nowhere, a terrible storm came and its fiercefull winds grabbed a hold of all her clothes and all seven horses (authors note: since they are invisible they obviously didn’t weigh much). The girl was devestated and spent all autumn looking for each horse spread around the country, wrapped in her clothes.
