“Wandering around with a camera can be one of the most poetic activities I can think of. Life unfolds around us, rich, marvelous, tragic, sublime, tender, never boring, never repeating itself.
More and more people walk the streets holding a lens in front of their eyes, looking through it, searching, inquiring, questioning. They firmly believe that this way a magic door would soon open to them and they will finally be able to see for real. “On Happiness Street” is a small collection of images showing what I found while keeping the lens in front of my eye.
